Our Story
The “RuralCoop” Support Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded by Farm Credit Armenia Universal Credit Organization Commercial Cooperative in 2010, and is dedicated to advancing educational, informational, and supportive initiatives within its member-shareholders, and farmers across rural Armenia. Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance to farmers and individuals in rural areas, helping them grow their businesses, establish new cooperatives and strengthen existing ones through specialized trainings, effective communication, and much more.

Our Founder Cooperative
Farm Credit Armenia UCO CC (FCA) is the only financial institution in Armenia based on true cooperative principles.
Farm Credit Armenia`s member-borrowers are the clients, owners (shareholders), controllers and beneficiaries of the organization. In accordance with cooperative principal, each member has one share and one vote, despite the amount of the share.
Farm Credit Armenia has more than 10,500 member-borrowers. Total assets are 37.5 million USD and total equity is 5.6 million USD. FCA has 9 regional branches in 6 marzes.
